New Update for Disneyland and MyDisneyExperience Apps Makes Park Navigation EVEN Easier
For Disneyland and Disney World regulars, getting around the parks is basically second nature. But if you’re visiting for the first time – or just on the hunt for something more obscure – navigating your way can feel a LITTLE overwhelming.

Enter Disney World’s MyDisneyExperience (MDE) app! In case you missed it, this handy app has EVERYTHING you need for a successful Disney World vacation.

And if you’re visiting Disneyland? Well, the Disneyland mobile app serves the same function!

From dining reservations and Lightning Lane to wait times and mobile ordering, the Disneyland and MyDisneyExperience apps are the SINGLE most important accessory you need for a day in the parks.

Clearly, MDE is convenient for A LOT of things. And now, Disney has dropped a NEW MyDisneyExperience map update that makes app navigation – AND park navigation – EVEN easier!

New MyDisneyExperience Map Update
If you’ve been using Disneyland’s mobile app or Disney World’s MyDisneyExperience for any length of time, you know that the map screen has previously listed categories in a dropdown menu.
These included Wait Times, Dining, Attractions, Entertainment, Restrooms, Transportation, and more.

Users could select the desired category from the dropdown menu, and view information accordingly.

Now, Disney has improved upon this feature with a NEW update, which changes the way those categories are displayed on the map screen.
With the new update, categories appear horizontally across the top of the map screen.

To access any category, users can now simply swipe from left to right (and back again!).
Whether you’re visiting Disneyland or Walt Disney World, the new map feature makes it even easier to navigate the app, find what you’re looking for, and figure out how to get there!
