Disney Celebrates 50 Years of Space Mountain With New Soundscape
In celebration of Space Mountain’s 50th anniversary, which took place on January 15, Disney has released a new soundscape dedicated to the attraction.
The soundscape, available on the Disney Parks YouTube channel, features background music from all four Space Mountains that are currently open to guests. Overall, it creates a galactic soundscape, transporting you to the Disney Parks.

An Audio Tour of Disney’s Four Space Mountains
The hour-long video begins with the iconic “Star Tunnel” music from Walt Disney World before transitioning to the background music from Disneyland’s Space Mountain.

From there, the journey continues through the Hyperspace Mountains of Disneyland Paris and Hong Kong Disneyland. Eventually, the soundscape wraps back around, and the cycle begins again.
“Welcome aboard traveler. It’s the 50th anniversary of Space Mountain at Walt Disney World Resort, which means it’s time to kick off those space boots and lean back as we shuttle you through the sights and sounds of Space Mountain and Star Wars™ Hyperspace Mountain across Disney parks,” Disney captioned the video.
