A Fan-Favorite EPCOT Snack Is Coming to Disneyland Resort
Guests visiting Downtown Disney will finally be able to get their hands on an iconic EPCOT snack when Disney Wonderful World of Sweets opens.
As a quick recap, Disneyland announced earlier this year that Marceline’s Confectionary, a popular shop for guests with a sweet tooth, would be reimagined and expanded as part of the overhaul of Downtown Disney.

After the renovations, the confectionary is set to reopen as Disney Wonderful World of Sweets.
Werther’s Original Carmel Popcorn Is Coming to Downtown Disney
When the updated sweet shop opens, it will be accompanied by Werther’s Original Caramel popcorn, which has long been a fan-favorite snack at EPCOT. For years, the snack has been exclusively offered at Karamell-Küche in the Germany pavilion, which is home to numerous Werther’s treats. For years, the snack has been one of the most popular treats.
In addition to the caramel popcorn, Wonderful World of Sweets will also offer the caramel apples, candy, and toffee that made Marceline’s Confectionery so popular.
Needless to say, Disneyland guests have reason to be excited.
When Will Disney Wonderful World of Sweets Open
While Disneyland has yet to announce when Disney Wonderful World of Sweets will open, a window cling located on the store advertises that the shop “is unwrapping soon.”
In the meantime, guests visiting Downtown Disney can still get their sugar fix at the Marceline’s Confectionery stand. The kiosk has continued to sell candy apples and other treats throughout the refurbishment.
