DCA Lunar New Year Festival – Sip and Savor Pass
The Lunar New Year celebration is officially underway, bringing the resort–especially Disney California Adventure–tons of offerings inspired by the Year of the Snake! But that’s not all–Valentine’s Day is also quickly approaching, which means the resort is full of love-inspired treats–and soon–Sweethearts’ Nite events. And both of those celebrations have taken over the Grand Californian lobby–let’s take a look!

The lobby of Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa is full of unique offerings that celebrate both Lunar New Year and Valentine’s Day!
Lunar New Year Offerings
When it comes to the Lunar New Year offerings, the hardest one to miss is the Year of the Snake Display, which features a snake coiled into a Mickey head–a design we’ve seen throughout the celebration.

The display also includes lanterns, drawing inspiration from Chinese, Vietnamese, and Korean culture!

The coolest part? The display is edible! It’s made out of:
- 40 pounds of white chocolate
- 30 pounds of fondant
- 10 pounds of crisped rice cereal
- 3 pounds of marshmallows

If the display inspired a sweet tooth, you can head over to the lobby’s Treat Cart to grab a Lunar New Year treat! There’s an assortment of celebration-themed items, including cookies…
