El Artista Hambriento Boasts Flavorful Favorites at EPCOT’s 2025 Festival of the Arts
EPCOT without a festival is a little like nachos without guacamole.
It’s still good — REALLY good, in fact — but in your heart of hearts, you know it’d be just a LITTLE better with a bit of extra topping!

It’s been a minute since EPCOT’s 2024 International Festival of the Holidays ended, and we’re MORE than ready to kick off the 2025 International Festival of the Arts!

2025 Festival of the Arts
The fan-favorite event — which runs TODAY, January 17th through February 24th, 2025 — features incredible entertainment, exclusive festival merchandise, exciting art demonstrations, and of course, TONS AND TONS of amazing food!

Our MickeyBlog team has spent the morning taste-testing creative festival cuisine from Figment’s Inspiration Station and The Deconstructed Dish.
Now, it’s time to turn our attention to EPCOT’s Mexico pavilion, where we sampled the goods at El Artista Hambriento!

El Artista Hambriento
Let’s check it out!
El Artista Hambriento
Located at the STUNNING Mexico pavilion, El Artista Hambriento offers a variety of flavorful Mexican dishes.

The line was LONG but worth the wait!

El Artista Hambriento
This year, the menu includes three food items and three beverage options.
For a savory bite, guests can choose between the Carne Asada (Ancho-marinated beef sirloin with pasilla chile sauce, grilled queso fresco, nopales salad, and chicharron dust) and the Croqueta (Chipotle chicken and chorizo croquette in chipotle salsa with chipotle aioli, avocado mousse, and truffle oil).

There’s also one dessert, the Natilla de Maiz (a creamy corn custard with caramelized sugar), and several drink options, like the NEW Floridita.
This alcoholic beverage includes Centinelo Blanco Tequila, Dos Hombres Mezcal, citrus juice, orange liqueur, and grapefruit soda with a hint of Aperol.

On our visit, we started with the Croqueta ($8.00). This flavorful dish is a definite win — IF you can handle the heat!

Croqueta
The Croqueta is made of chicken and chorizo, which is basically shredded up into a fried croquette. But for our spice lovers, it’s the Chipotle sauce that turns things extra SPICY!
While the avocado crema works well to balance things out, this veers on the edge of “too spicy.” It’s definitely spicier than most “spicy” items you’ll find in Disney World. Try it if you like to walk on the spicy side!

For something a little sweeter, the Natilla de Maiz corn custard ($6.50) is a DELICIOUS follow-up!

El Artista Hambriento
With its sweet cornbread flavor and caramel corn topping, we’d come back for this dish again and again.

Finally, we rounded things out with the refreshing Floridita ($16.50). The subtle tequila flavor takes a back seat to the citrus and grapefruit notes, making for a well-rounded and refreshing beverage.
