PHOTOS: Wait Times Remain Manageable as Crowds Flock to EPCOT For the 2025 Festival of the Arts
In case you missed the news, the 2025 EPCOT Festival of the Arts officially kicked off today at Walt Disney World, and we here at MickeyBlog could not be more excited!
All day, we have been bringing you updates on all of the merchandise, artwork, and cuisine that the Festival of the Arts brings with it. As EPCOT comes alive with imagination and creativity, there is nowhere else we would rather be.

Festival of the Arts
As it turns out, however, we were not the only ones excited for the Festival of the Arts to kick off today. Hundreds of guests have poured into EPCOT, leading to long lines at many Festival of the Arts booths.
Attraction Wait Times Remain Relatively Low
While the World Showcase is currently packed with guests hoping to take advantage of all that the Festival of the Arts has to offer, EPCOT’s attractions are not seeing particularly long lines.
A quick look at the Walt Disney World apps shows that most of EPCOT’s rides have a wait time of less than 20 minutes.
Even the park’s most popular rides, such as Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, Soarin’ Around the World, and Frozen Ever After, have reasonable waits.
January Is Traditionally A Slower Time of the Year
It should be noted that the middle of January is traditionally one of the slowest times of year for Walt Disney World. Without the Festival of the Arts kicking off today, the attraction wait times would likely be even lower.
Of course, this weekend is also a popular time to visit with Martin Luther King Jr. Day taking place this Monday!
Nevertheless, if you are planning a trip to EPCOT this week, take heart. The park may be busy, but you should still have time to ride all your favorite attractions.
