Naturally, our team couldn’t WAIT to sample all the festival eats, so we showed up bright and early to bring you ALL the details!
So far, we’ve stopped by El Artista Hambriento and Figment’s Inspiration Station. Now, it’s time to taste-test the offerings at L’Art de la Cuisine Française.

Let’s check it out!
L’Art de la Cuisine Française
EPCOT’s beautiful France pavilion is home to SO MUCH MORE than just Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure! This charming little nook also offers delicious French cuisine at Chefs de France, Monsieur Paul, Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie, and La Crêperie de Paris.

During EPCOT’s International Festival of the Arts, it’s also where you’ll find L’Art de la Cuisine Française!
This year, the menu includes THREE food options, including two NEW items: the Pithiviers de Canard et Volaille, Sauce Canard (puff pastry with duck, chicken, onions, mushrooms, cranberries, and duck sauce), and the Escargot en Chocolat (chocolate mousse flourless cake, citrus coulis, almond-chocolate coating, and dark chocolate decoration).

You’ll also find four beverage options, including the Frozen French Martini and the Elderflower Liqueur Spritz.
Here’s a look at the full menu:

We started out with the Pithiviers de Canard et Voilaille, Sauce Canard ($9.95). The light and flaky pastry is filled with savory chicken, duck, and vegetable filling.

The duck flavor is very strong here, while onions and cranberries lend the dish a bit of sweetness. The thick duck sauce complements the pastry well, but ultimately, this one was not a favorite for our team.

Next, we tried the Escargot en Chocolat ($9.25). Our photo shows it from the back, but the chocolate on top is actually made to look like a snail!

While we enjoyed the creative presentation, the Escargot en Chocolat was only okay for us. The chocolate was good and the mousse was creamy, but we didn’t love the strong orange flavor — or the gooey consistency.
