PHOTOS: Chester and Hester’s Dino-Rama Has Been Removed From Disney’s Animal Kingdom Map
In case you missed the big news yesterday, Chester and Hester’s Dino-Rama officially closed at Disney’s Animal Kingdom as the park prepares for the arrival of its upcoming Tropical Americas land.
With a new era in Animal Kingdom history unfolding before our eyes, the park’s official map has now been updated.
Let’s take a closer look!
The Updated Animal Kingdom Map
Opening our new Disney’s Animal Kingdom map, DinoLand U.S.A. looks very different.
The entire area that was once Chester and Hester’s Dino-Rama has been removed from the map and is now depicted as an empty, green expanse.
Without Dino-Rama, the land looks awfully small.
Under the DinoLand U.S.A. section of the guide, the Fossil Fun Games, TriceraTops Spin, and Chester and Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures have been removed.
That leaves The Boneyard, DINOSAUR, and Finding Nemo: The Big Blue…and Beyond! (which is not really even located within DinoLand) as the land’s only attractions. Additionally, the Dino Institute Shop is now the sole remaining store.
Interestingly, the recently closed attractions can still be found on the digital version of the map.
I should note, however, that Chester and Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures is no longer listed.
The Rest of DinoLand Will Remain Open
Disney previously announced that DINOSAUR, The Boneyard, and Restaurantosaurus will remain open through 2025, giving fans a chance to say goodbye.

DINOSAUR
With that in mind, it looks like the current version of DinoLand will be here to stay for at least the rest of the year.
