The Fuentes del Morro Pool at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort Is Closing For Refurbishment
For thirty years now, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort has been my favorite place to stay on Walt Disney World property.
Long before the Disney Skyliner arrived, the Caribbean Beach Resort was a sprawling oasis where you could get away from the hustle and bustle of the parks, lounge in a hammock, and enjoy some fun in the sun.
While the resort has gotten more popular in recent years, for my money, it is still the best place to stay on the property.
If you plan to stay at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort this month, however, I have bad news.
The Fuentes del Morro Pool Is Closing For Refurbishment
The Fuentes del Morro Pool and adjacent aquatic play area, which are located near Old Port Royale Centertown, will close on January 13 for routine maintenance.
According to Disney, the pool will reopen at the end of January.
With cooler temperatures in the forecast and lighter crowds expected until March, the timing of the refurbishment makes sense.
The Resort’s Other Pools Will Remain Open
If you plan to stay at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort while the Fuentes del Morro Pool is closed, however, do not fear!
Each of the five villages comprising Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort has a quiet pool. So, weather permitting, you can still enjoy some time in the sun!
