PHOTOS: Portions of Plaza del Sol Caribe Bazaar Have Reopened at Magic Kingdom
Walt Disney World Resort is experiencing a lot of change right now, and with a new year comes new updates.
Plenty of areas are getting a “glow up,” and we are seeing refurbishment at various hotels, attractions, and more. MickeyBlog recently shared that the Grand Floridian’s Courtyard Pool and Bar is closing for a lengthy refurbishment.
And we brought you the “first looks” at the construction happening around Big Thunder Mountain!
Kali River Rapids and Gran Fiesta Tour Starring the Three Caballeros are also closed due to refurbishment.

One of our favorite merchandise locations also closed temporarily, but construction walls are slowly coming down.

Plaza del Sol Caribe Bazaar is a merchandise shop located in Adventureland at Magic Kingdom.

It is located at the exit of Pirates of the Caribbean and across from Tortuga Tavern.

Guests temporarily bought their pirate merchandise from the former Tortuga Tavern but can now check out the goods here once again.

Portions of the walls are down, and guests can get a great look at the new upgrades, though wet paint signs and walls are still up.

The refurbishment has included fresh paint, new register counters, and updated props and decor.

While more merchandise becomes available, the store is still undergoing refurbishment, and select areas are closed off.
