Happy Birthday, Daisy Duck! Today is a special day as one of our favorite Disney friends celebrates her birthday.
Daisy Duck has charmed audiences since her debut in 1940, and today, we celebrate with fellow fans around the world.
Sassy, confident, and iconic. Here are five fun facts about this feathered diva.
1. Daisy Made Her Debut in 1940

Daisy Duck first officially appeared on-screen in the 1940 short film Mr. Duck Steps Out, though she also appeared as Donna Duck in Don Donald (1937).
In the animated short, Daisy meets her love interest, Donald Duck, and the audience first sees her vibrant personality and iconic bow.
2. She Has a Distinct Voice
Daisy has one of the most distinct character voices and is a unique combination of charm and raspiness.
Over the years, several voice actresses have brought it to life, including Clarence Nash, Janet Waldo, and most recently, Tress MacNeille.
3. Family and Friends
Daisy and Donald are in a relationship, and their romance is one of the longest-running romances in Disney history.
After being introduced in the short film Mr. Duck Steps Out, their relationship blossomed, and she was incorporated more into Donald’s comic stories.

She is also the aunt of April, May, and June, as well as Huey, Dewey, and Louie. Her closest friends include Clarabelle Cow and Minnie Mouse.
4. She is a Fashion Icon
Daisy’s signature style is her dress, matching bow, and heels, but her look has evolved over the years.
She switches up her outfits for special appearances and seasons, showing off her unique fashion. But most importantly, al of her pieces match!
5. She’s a Star at the Disney Parks
Daisy is a popular character to meet at all of the Disney parks. She can be seen at character dining, classic meet-and-greets, parades and shows, and our favorite- leading a dance class in Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway.
