‘Zootopia 2’ Star Gary the Snake Will Be Featured in Shanghai Disney’s Year of the Snake Festivities
As Shanghai Disney Resort prepares to celebrate the Year of the Snake, the resort is introducing a new Disney character!
Gary, who will make his debut in November’s Zootopia 2, will be heavily featured in Shanghai Disney Resort’s Year of the Snake celebrations!

Who Is Gary the Snake?
While we don’t know much about Gary the Snake, we do know that the new resident of Zootopia will play a major role in Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde’s next adventure. He will also be voiced by Ke Huy Quan.
“Judy and Nick find themselves on the twisting trail of a mysterious reptile, Gary, who arrives in Zootopia and turns the mammal metropolis upside down. To crack the case, Judy and Nick must go undercover to unexpected new parts of town, where their growing partnership is tested like never before,” the Zootopia 2 synopsis reads.

So far, Gary has been featured in Zootopia 2 concept art, but that’s about it.
The Year of the Snake
All that will change with the beginning of Shanghai Disney Resort’s Year of the Snake celebrations.

Gary will be prominently featured in the park’s decorations and is expected to appear during the Our Families nighttime spectacular.
The reptile even made his official Disney debut in a new advertisement for the park’s Year of the Snake festivities!

The Festivities Kick Off Next Week
The Shanghai Disney Resort Year of the Snake festivities will kick off on January 15. Hopefully, we learn more about Gary and his place in Zootopia soon!
