Disneyland Announces 2025 Return Date For Haunted Mansion Holiday
The holiday season may have just ended at Disneyland Resort, but The Happiest Place on Earth is already starting to plan its 2025 holiday offerings.
Today, Disneyland announced that the Haunted Mansion Holiday will return to New Orleans Square on November 14, 2025, and operate through January 7, 2026.
That means that Jack Skellington, Oogie Boogie, and the rest of Halloween Town’s residents will be moving into the Haunted Mansion later than usual in 2025. For comparison, Haunted Mansion Holiday returned to Disneyland on July 29 this year.

The later date also means that guests will be able to experience the traditional Haunted Mansion on Halloween. A spooktacular surprise for Disneyland guests.
UPDATE: Disney later updated their website to show that Haunted Mansion Holiday will indeed open prior to Halloween on August 22, 2025.
The Traditional Haunted Mansion Did Not Operate in 2024
While November 15 is late for the Haunted Mansion Holiday to debut, this year’s July 29 reopening was exceptionally early. Due to the refurbishment of the Haunted Mansion queue and the corresponding construction around the attraction, the original Haunted Mansion never returned in 2024.

Instead, the Haunted Mansion Holiday closed in January, and the attraction remained shuttered until July 29. As opposed to restoring the traditional Haunted Mansion for a couple of months, Disney simply chose to extend the Haunted Mansion Holiday season.
The Original Version of the Attraction Returns This Month
This year, the traditional Haunted Mansion will reopen on January 18 and remain operational through the summer. This will be the first time Disneyland guests have been able to ride the normal version of the attraction since 2023.
