Wind Advisory in Effect for Walt Disney World and Surrounding Counties
Cold weather and intense winds? It is a blustery day that would make Eeyore proud! Central Florida is currently under a Wind Advisory that has been issued until January 6 at 7:00PM EST.

Cooler temperatures are typical for this time of year, but intense winds are not common. These winds can create gusts up to 45 mph, with potential area damage due to loose objects.
Weather Update
A Wind Advisory is in effect for the following counties: Inland Northern Brevard, Mainland Northern Brevard, Northern Brevard Barrier Islands, Orange, and Seminole.
The advisory is scheduled until 7 PM EST this evening.
It warns that gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects and that drivers should take care when driving outside. Tree limbs could also be blown down, and a few power outages may result.

The last time we experienced a wind advisory was when Hurricane Milton blew through. The good news is that it expires later today and the rest of the week is mostly sunny.
Orlando and Walt Disney World are bracing for a cold front in the next few days, with temperatures dropping to the upper 30s and low 40s. The days are warming up nicely to an average of 60°.
