BE PREPARED: Blizzard Beach Will Be Closed Multiple Days This Week

Disney World is experiencing some rough weather right now.

The colder weather over the weekend closed down Blizzard Beach and had some wondering about the potential for real snow (no, not “snoap”) in Disney World. And, unfortunately, the weather-related closures are extending into this week–here’s what we know.

Brrrrr…it’s getting cold at the Disney World Resort. Most of us don’t desire to hop into water in these conditions, but for those who do, you’ll want to check out Blizzard Beach’s closures for the week.

While the water park is themed to be a winter wonderland–it’s definitely not intended to be enjoyed while it’s freezing. Due to that fact, the water park will be closed on January 7th and January 8th, when temperatures are low.

While writing this, January 8th’s hours of operations disappeared from the resort’s calendar, so Disney is actively removing days. (With that said, be prepared for the possibility of more days of operation being removed!)
