The reimagining — slated to debut sometime in 2027 — will include an Encanto attraction, an Indiana Jones attraction, and a beautiful new carousel.

But Disney fans know that getting something new usually means saying goodbye to something old.
In this case, the upcoming changes have spelled the end for Animal Kingdom’s DinoLand U.S.A., which was previously home to dino-themed attractions like TriceraTop Spin, Primeval Whirl, The Boneyard, and Donald’s Dino-Bash.

With work on the area officially beginning on January 13th, many DinoLand attractions will permanently close on January 12th.
There’s still over a week to enjoy your favorite “prehistoric” attractions, but small changes are already occurring in DinoLand — including the removal of the area’s Disney Vacation Club kiosk.
