Disney Jr. Had a Record-Breaking 2024 and It’s Only Getting Better From Here
While Disney+ is perhaps best known for its hit Marvel and Star Wars streaming series, the platform’s biggest show is undoubtedly Bluey.
A hit with both young fans and their parents, Bluey has consistently been one of the most-watched shows on streaming. In 2024, the show delivered once again.
According to TheWrap, this year (through November) Bluey delivered 50.5 billion minutes watched (842 million hours) in the United States, making the series the most-watched show for preschoolers.

As it turns out, however, Bluey was not the only preschool hit that Disney delivered in 2024.
Disney Jr. Library of Hits
This year, across linear television and streaming, Disney had four of the top 10 preschool shows. In addition to Bluey, young fans also flocked to Spidey and His Amazing Friends, SuperKitties, and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.

“With ‘Bluey’ as the most-watched series on streaming, ‘Marvel’s Spidey and his Amazing Friends’ and ‘SuperKitties’ breaking into the top ranks, and ‘Mickey Mouse Clubhouse’ continuing to captivate audiences, this year’s success underscores the power of Disney Jr.’s stories to connect with children and families everywhere. These achievements reflect the exceptional work of our teams and creative partners who make Disney Jr. a trusted and beloved part of so many homes.”
Thriving on YouTube
Interestingly, Disney used multiple distribution methods to dominate the preschool charts. While Bluey was a major hit on Disney+, Spidey and His Amazing Friends thrived on YouTube, delivering 1.8 billion views across the Disney Jr. and Marvel HQ channels.
According to TheWrap report, Disney Jr. saw its YouTube subscriber count reach 21 million and delivered 21 billion total views.
The Future Looks Bright
With a new installment of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse coming next year, an Iron Man series in the works, and a Bluey movie in development, Disney is clearly investing in its preschooler programming.

So far, that investment has paid off handsomely. Disney has become THE name in preschool entertainment.
