Bags Inc. to Cut Walt Disney World Jobs
With the contract between Bags Inc. and Walt Disney World for valet services coming to an end, the company is set to cut roughly 246 positions across at least 10 Disney resorts.
In recent years, Bags Inc. has provided valet services at some of Walt Disney World’s most popular resorts, including Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. Now, many of the valets who made magical vacations possible will be laid off.

According to the Orlando Business Journal, the upcoming job cuts will occur between January 20 and February 17, 2025. Employees do not have senior bumping rights.
Disney Is Going With a Different Company
As the contract between Bags Inc. and Disney nears its end, Walt Disney World has awarded its contract to a new company.

“The valet contract between the company and Disney’s Polynesian Resort will not be renewed, thus prompting this notification,” a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act notice filed with the state says.
“It is unknown if the new company awarded the contract will extend offers of employment to the current employees.”
Bags Inc. and Disney Have a Longtime Relationship
The relationship between Walt Disney World and Bags Inc. stretches back over a decade. For a long time, Bags Inc. was responsible for delivering guests’ luggage from the Orlando International Airport to their resort hotel as part of the Disney Magical Express.
When that service was discontinued in 2021, Bags Inc. no longer transported guest’s luggage.
Now, another chord connecting Bags and Disney has been cut.
