Tour the 2-Bedroom Penthouse Villa at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort’s NEW Island Tower!
Yesterday was the Grand Opening Celebration of the Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort! (The Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows is the newest Disney Vacation Club expansion.)
The celebration was full of food, music, and a tour of the entire tower! Our tour included peeks into the various room types–including the 2-Bedroom Penthouse Villa!
2-Bedroom Penthouse Villa
The 2-Bedroom Penthouse Villas at the new Island Tower celebrate water and earth, accommodating up to 8 guests. The penthouse villa includes all the other amenities of the 1-Bedroom Villa and 2-Bedroom Villa, just with much more space (and better views from the patio, but we’ll get to that later)!
The living room has a water-inspired color palette, basket-enclosed light fixtures, a couch, chairs, a table, and ottomans. The wall behind the couch has two handles surrounding water-themed artwork, which pull down to reveal a bed.
The couch faces a television that rests upon storage space. (And look at that view!)
Across the room are the dining area and kitchen! The dining area has a large table, bench, and four additional chairs. Touching on the villa’s theme, a stingray decoration rests on the wall, and basket-enclosed light fixtures hang above the table.
The kitchen has a sink, dishwasher, oven, stovetop, microwave, toaster, full fridge, and freezer.
Here’s a unique feature in this area–the television can also be viewed from here!
The shared space has a bathroom with a traditional layout. There’s a sink, toilet, and shower.
The main bedroom has a bed, surrounded by more basket-enclosed light fixtures and a huge art piece. The bedroom can also access the main patio area. A sliding barn door separates the bedroom from the bathroom.
The opposite side of the room has a television, dresser drawers, and an armoire.
The main bathroom has a bathtub and shower, with a floral art piece above the tub. The toilet area is secluded with a stall-style privacy door.
There are two sinks…
…that are separated by the door. The sinks have a geometric backsplash on the wall, which also have vanity mirrors.
The additional bedroom has two beds, basket-enclosed light fixtures, and geometric wallpaper.
The room connects to another bathroom with a sink area…
…shower, and a toilet behind a stall-style privacy door.
The additional room has its own patio!
Speaking of patios, let’s head to the main patio! The main patio has tons of space…
…and views of Seven Seas Lagoon and Magic Kingdom, as well as Disney’s Oak Trail and Magnolia Golf Courses.
