Dick Van Dyke Returns Home and Celebrates his 99th Birthday!

Happy Birthday, Dick Van Dyke! The talented actor and performer turns 99 today and returns home after fleeing dangerous wildfires.

And the icing on the cake? His missing cat, Bobo, was found safe!

A Unique Celebration 

Today, Dick Van Dyke’s 99th birthday became a celebration of resilience and gratitude. The legendary entertainer reflected on a challenging week marked by wildfires and an emotional reunion with his beloved cat, Bobo.

Earlier in the week, Van Dyke and his wife, Arlene Silver, were forced to evacuate their Malibu home as the Franklin Fire approached their neighborhood.

In the middle of the chaos, their orange tabby, Bobo, went missing. Fans rallied around the star, offering hope and prayers for Bobo’s safe return via social media. Thankfully, the couple returned home, where they found Bobo unharmed and waiting for them.

“There was so much interest in his disappearance that Animal Control got involved, but thankfully he was easy to find and not harmed,” Van Dyke shared on social media, expressing immense relief.

The couple further shared their gratitude and appreciation to their neighbors who assisted during the evacuation. “Three neighbors came and carried me out and came back to put out a little fire in the guest house and saved me,” Van Dyke recounted.

Celebrating at Home

Now back at home, Van Dyke is able to relax and enjoy his milestone birthday with family.
