How I’d Spend $100 at EPCOT’s Festival of the Holidays
Happy holidays, everyone! The holiday season is in full swing over in Disney World, especially in EPCOT, where the Festival of the Holidays is happening until December 30th.
There are many fun things to do at the festival, but my favorite part is definitely the food. It can be hard to decide what you want to try at the Holiday Kitchens, especially if you’re on a budget, so I’m here to help!
I’m breaking down how I’d spend $100 at EPCOT’s Festival of the Holidays.
How I’d Spend $100 at EPCOT’s Festival of the Holidays
First up, I’d head to Favorites of Festivals Past which is located in CommuniCore Plaza and is a new booth this year! There are some great options here, but I’d grab the Reuben Croquettes with pastrami, sauerkraut, and Swiss cheese with thousand island dipping sauce for $6.
It’s a good portion size and they’re delicious!
Inside of CommuniCore Hall is another new booth — the Experimental Prototype Cookies of Tomorrow! Here, I’m getting the non-alcoholic Gingerbread Milk Shake for $4.75.
It’s the perfect small treat filled with festive flavors!
Moving over to The Odyssey building you’ll find Holiday Hearth Desserts inside. There are a bunch of festive desserts here, but I’d pick the Mint Chocolate Mousse Wreath for $5.25.
It’s a nice way to stay in the spirit while having something a little bit lighter!
In the Mexico Pavilion is Las Posadas Holiday Kitchen where we’re getting two items! First up is the Empanada de Pollo, which is a fried corn tortilla filled with chipotle chicken and potatoes topped with chile rojo salsa, crema Mexicana, and queso fresco for $8.
I’m also grabbing a cocktail here — the Holiday Margarita with Dos Hombres Mezcal, tequila, cranberry lime juice, allspice and orange blackcurrant liqueurs for $14.
Next door in the China Pavilion is Shanghai Holiday Kitchen. I’d get a 6 oz. pour of the Brew Hub Year of the Dragon – Dragon Fruit Lager here for $5.75! It’s a refreshing and fruity lager.
In the Germany Pavilion, check out Bavaria Holiday Kitchen where you can get the Pork Schnitzel with mushroom sauce, spätzle, and braised red cabbage for $6.75! It’s a hearty meal for the holidays.
Speaking of holiday meals, American Holiday Table has the most classic one! Grab the slow-roasted turkey with stuffing, mashed potatoes, green beans, and cranberry sauce for $6.25.
In the Japan Pavilion is Shi Wasu Holiday Kitchen where you can get the super fun Sushi Tree Roll, which is a Christmas tree-shaped sushi roll with krab meat and cream cheese topped with ikura salmon roe and spicy mayo for $7.50. Sushi is already delicious and it’s even better in the shape of a Christmas tree!
In the Morocco Pavilion is Tangierine Cafe: Flavors of the Medina which always has a great Hard Cider Flight at the festivals. The one for Festival of the Holidays has Ciderboys Cranberry Razz Hard Cider, Bold Rock Apple Crumble Hard Cider, and Gulf Stream Brewing Holiday Snakebite for $10.25.
Before you get to the France Pavilion check out L’Chaim! Holiday Kitchen where you can get the Pastrami on Rye with house-made pickles and deli mustard $6.
I’d also grab the Potato Latkes for $4.75. They’re a great plant-based item!
The Hawaiian-themed booth Mele Kalikimaka is at the front of the World Showcase where you can grab the Kālua Pork with Okinawa sweet potatoes and mango salad for $6!
Finally, head on over to Nochebuena Cocina on the way to the Imagination! Pavilion and grab the Pastelón for $5.75. It’s sofrito-marinated beef with sweet plantains and olives. It’s a unique way to end your day of eating.
So, if you get every single thing on this list, it’ll bring you to a whopping total of $97! You can have a full day of eating for less than $100 with a little bit of everything.
Stay tuned for more Disney World news and updates!
