Disney The Tale of Moana
Performed on the stage of the Walt Disney Theater, Disney The Tale of Moana adapts the original 2016 film for the stage.

Disney The Tale of Moana
The show is narrated by the spirit of Moana’s beloved grandmother and follows Moana as she embarks on her journey to restore the heart of Te Fiti.
The beginning of the show is a bit unusual, as the crew congregates on stage a few minutes before it officially begins. This was a little surprising, but it worked well to create an engaging ambiance.

Disney The Tale of Moana
With an incredible cast that includes FIVE Broadway performers and some truly impressive puppets (especially Te Ka!), Disney The Tale of Moana is NOT to be missed!

The show begins on the island of Motunui, with Gramma Tala taking up the role of narrator.

“Warrior Face,” a deleted song from the 2016 film, is performed for the first time when Maui teaches Moana to face her fears.

Other songs performed in the show include “You’re Welcome,” “We Know the Way,” and “How Far I’ll Go.”

We even get to meet Tamatoa in the Realm of Monsters!

We recommend sitting in the first few rows to get the best view of the puppets.
