Paper Experience Guides Return to Disney’s Animal Kingdom For the First Time in Years
With the holiday season in full swing at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, there has never been a better time to visit the park.
Between the return of Merry Menagerie, the debut of the 75th Annual Dino Institute Holiday Party, and numerous holiday meet-and-greets scattered throughout the park, there is a TON to do at Animal Kingdom.

To highlight all of the fun taking place across the park and to ensure that guests don’t miss anything, I am happy to announce that paper experience guides have returned!
Paper Experience Guides Return!
When we entered Disney’s Animal Kingdom yesterday, we were thrilled to see the new experience guides stocked next to the park maps.
The front of the brochure highlights all of Animal Kingdom’s Holiday Experiences. Information here includes times for Merry Menagerie or when guests can meet Santa himself!
Further down the page, the park’s animal experiences are highlighted.
The inside of the guide showcases all of the entertainment taking place across Animal Kingdom. This includes the times for Winged Encounters, Burudika, Beats and Strings, and more.
As you can see, there is also a section dedicated to the Wilderness Explorers scavenger hunt.
Finally, the back of the guide features Animal Kingdom’s shows and character greetings!
If you are a long-time Walt Disney World visitor, you likely fondly remember the paper experience and time guides. Since the advent of the My Disney Experience app, however, Disney has largely eliminated the physical guides.
It remains to be seen whether the guides are here to stay or have simply returned for the holidays. So far, however, we have only seen the paper guides at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
