Hulu Leads the Way as The Walt Disney Company Earns 35 Golden Globe Nominations
The 82nd Golden Globe Award nominations were officially announced today, and once again, Disney has reason to celebrate.
Across its brands and studios, which include The Walt Disney Studios (Pixar Animation Studios, Marvel Studios, 20th Century Studios, and Searchlight Pictures), Disney Television Studios’ 20th Television, ABC Entertainment, FX, FX Productions, Hulu Originals, Marvel Television, and Searchlight Television, Disney received an impressive 35 Golden Globe nominations.

Here are the big winners.
Hulu Leads the Way
Looking at the nominees, Disney streaming was clearly the big winner, with Disney+ and Hulu combining for 23 nominations. The lion’s share of those nods (19) came from Hulu, which saw Only Murders in the Building, Shogun, and The Bear lead all television series with five nominees. Abbot Elementary, Agatha All Along, Nobody Wants This, and Fued: Capote vs. The Swans also scored nominations.

Turning to Disney’s theatrical releases, Searchlight Pictures picked up 10 nominations, including Best Motion Picture, Drama for A Complete Unknown and Best Motion Picture, Musical or Comedy for A Real Pain.
Other notable nominations included Timothée Chalamet (A Complete Unknown), Jesse Eisenberg (A Real Pain), and Jesse Plemons (Kinds of Kindness) for Best Actor and Amy Adams (Nightbitch) for Best Actress.

When Will the Golden Globes Air?
The 82nd Golden Globes will be held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles on Sunday, January 5. The ceremony will be broadcast live on CBS and Paramount+ beginning at 8:00 PM ET.
