Explore the “it’s a small world” Nursery Aboard the Disney Treasure!
Ahoy there, everyone! We’re thrilled to share that MickeyTravels was invited aboard the spectacular new Disney Treasure as it embarks on an exclusive 3-night preview sailing.
We can’t wait to give you your first look at all that Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship has to offer, and we’re so glad you chose to cruise along with us today!

Disney Treasure
Right now, we’re situated on Deck 2, where we think we’ve found the most perfect spot for your own little “Disney treasures” to enjoy.
Come with us, and let’s explore the “it’s a small world” Nursery!
The Happiest Nursery That Ever Sailed!

Step aboard, everyone, and let’s explore the sweetest nursery at sea!

Inspired by the iconic Disney Parks attraction, the “it’s a small world” Nursery is always a firm favorite among parents and littles aboard Disney Cruise Line, and for very good reason indeed!
It’s here where parents can leave their kids (between the ages of 6 months to 3 years) for playtime and adventure during sailings, always assured that they’ll be looked after by the most attentive and caring of expert counselors. Perfect!

Now, of course, during sailings, this nursery is strictly off-limits to grown-ups. But, before we set off, we were allowed a quick look around to admire the beauty and wonder of this gorgeous environment!
Let’s take a look around!

Disney Details Everywhere!
The first thing we’re noticing about this nursery is that it’s incredibly aesthetically pleasing, and all inspired by the iconic “it’s a small world” attraction.
That instantly recognizable artwork inspired by Disney artist Mary Blair will always make us “ooh” and “aww,” so we love to see it used here in this precious nursery!

While we’d seen round-the-world-inspired attention to detail on the Disney Wish, the thing that sets the Treasure’s nursery apart is that it uses classic Disney and Pixar characters in its design.

Looking around, we can see faces such as Aladdin and Jasmine soaring above Agrabah, Pinocchio and Jiminy Cricket playing around the screen, and Anna and Elsa having a snowy day in Arendelle. I love how Remy can be spotted up high, and Luca swimming in the seaweed down below, too!

What we’re looking at here is the lively Play Room of the nursery, which boasts fun hidden details and interactive features throughout.
That train carrying Mickey and his friends actually chugs around a track along the ceiling, and kiddos can twist the “small world” moons to watch the characters and settings move, too!

Even the pink giraffe is tagging along!

Look – even the toys are Disney-inspired, with these cute friends from the Hundred Acre Wood already laid out to be enjoyed!

Isn’t this the most precious playroom?

So Much to Explore
Like the Disney Wish, the Disney Treasure’s nursery has three distinct areas for its small guests to utilize.

We’ve seen the Play Room, but there’s also the Nap Room and the Decompression Area!

With stunning murals on every wall, kiddos are sure to spot their favorite characters and feel instantly at home in this nursery.
Just look a the beautifully-lit nap area, overlooked by familiar faces from Cars, Pocahontas, Toy Story, and more!

While it’s all color and fun over in the Decompression Area, with characters from Encanto, Coco, Black Panther, and The Lion King!

Each of these areas has been specially designed to help littles adjust to the new surroundings, with so much care taken to ensure everyone — both parents and children — feel safe and looked after during their stay here at the nursery.
We couldn’t love this offering more!

Interestingly, according to the Disney Cruise Line website, the flooring across the nursery is colored in various shades of blue for a reason. It’s designed to represent the Seven Seaways, as yet another cute homage to the “it’s a small world” attraction!

How fun!

Deck 2
It’s during this Embarkation Day “open house” period where any parents interested in utilizing the nursery are encouraged to take a look around and make any reservations as soon as possible.
Childcare here does operate on a “first come, first served basis” and is very limited, so we’d always recommend booking in early to avoid your child missing out!

Even if you’re not making a reservation, though, we’re sure you’ll enjoy the beautiful murals visible to guests outside the nursery here on Deck 2.
Look — it’s the Disney Treasure itself!

Thank you so much for joining us on this magical look-around of the “it’s a small world” Nursery here on the Disney Treasure. We hope you’ll stay around to see more of the ship’s fabulous new experiences, as we can’t wait to show you it all right here on the blog!
