The race weekend is full of heroic events, immersing participants in super inspiring, action-packed races! Let’s check out the medals runners will receive at the finish line!
2025 Springtime Surprise Weekend Medals
The 2025 runDisney Springtime Surprise Weekend is inspired by heroic Disney characters and movies! So, naturally, the medals will embody the spirit and theming of the weekend. Disney Parks Blog revealed the medals–let’s take a look!

The Springtime Surprise 5K medal features Groot, one of the Guardians of the Galaxy! He–and his allies–are the hosts of this 3.1-mile race which will launch runners into a galactic adventure!

The Springtime Surprise 10K will take you from zero to hero, with Hercules as your guide (host). The Hercules-themed 6.2-mile race awards finishers a medal featuring the hero (who’s flexing, of course).

The Springtime Surprise 10-Miler medal showcases Mr. and Mrs. Incredible who are racing into action–much like the runners. Their 10-mile event also features Frozone.

Those finishing the Springtime Surprise Challenge (completion of all three races) will earn the Baymax and Hiro medal!

Brooks’ runDisney Debut
Brooks, the official running shoe of runDisney (starting in 2025), will make their race weekend debut at the 2025 Springtime Surprise Weekend! Participants will receive race shirts provided by Brooks, and Brooks’ first pairs of Disney-inspired running shoes will be available at the weekend’s runDisney Health & Fitness Expo.
