Bob Iger Honored at the Ad Council’s Annual Public-Service Dinner
Disney CEO Bob Iger was joined by friends and colleagues from across Disney, ABC, and ESPN last night as he was honored with the Ad Council’s Award for Public Service.
ABC news anchor David Muir, Disney Entertainment co-chairman Dana Walden, and ESPN’s Elle Duncan were among those in attendance.

Angela Bassett and Lilly Singh hosted the gala, which raised more than $9 million for the Ad Council.
What Is the Ad Council?
For those who don’t know, the Ad Council is a non-profit organization that brings storytellers together to educate and unite the public. Smokey Bear is among its most famous campaigns.

Last night, however, Bob Iger took center stage.
Disney Was Honored For Their Work with Make-A-Wish
On Thursday, Iger was honored for Disney’s partnership with the Ad Council and the company’s work with the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
“We need organizations like the Ad Council to remind us constantly that it is just not about business, it’s about being good citizens of the world. And we try to live up to that at Disney,” Iger said.
