Moana 2
Have you seen Moana 2 yet? It splashed into theaters on Thanksgiving, and has been swept up in quite the tidal wave of box office successes!

One of the biggest talking points of this particular movie is, of course, the music. With Barlow and Bear at the helm of the soundtrack, we always knew the music would be a hit…but fans can’t seem to get enough of one song in particular!

What Lies Beyond
We got our first listen of “Beyond” back in November when Disney released Moana’s catchy, moving, and powerful song for guests to enjoy ahead of the movie’s release.
Now Moana 2 is in theaters, “Beyond” is becoming something of a phenomenon, so we couldn’t be happier to see an extra-special performance land on Disney socials this week!

Performed by Moana actress Auli’i Cravalho, the performance also features Te Vaka, and a troupe of incredible Polynesian dancers.

Isn’t that incredible? I’ll be listening to that on repeat all weekend!
But, wait! Did you notice the backdrop for the performance? Wasn’t it familiar?

Journey of Water – Inspired by Moana
Yes! The extra-special video was filmed at EPCOT’s Journey of Water attraction, under the spectacular statue of Te Fiti. There couldn’t be a more perfect spot for such a meaningful song to be sung!

We always love seeing musical videos like this filmed live at the parks (throwback to Halle Bailey’s spectacular “Part of Your World” here!), and couldn’t think of a more perfect place for Moana than right here at EPCOT.
Be sure to catch Moana 2 in theaters now, and read more about the movie’s impressive worldwide cultural impact here!
