Mickey and Friends Will Get New Outfits AND a Cavalcade for Disneyland’s 70th Anniversary!
Disney just announced a ton of information regarding the Disneyland Resort’s 70th anniversary! The celebration is a long one, running from May 16th, 2025 through the summer of 2026.

In celebration of the anniversary, the resort will debut new entertainment, and welcome back fan favorites–like the “Paint the Night” Parade! But that’s not all–let’s check out the fun festivities Mickey and his friends are planning!
Mickey and Friends 70th Anniversary Offerings
Disney Parks Blog posted their guide to Disneyland’s 70th Anniversary Celebration! During the celebration, Mickey, Minnie, and all their pals will debut new looks in Town Square! Disney gave us a peek at Mickey and Minnie’s outfits, which remind us of the colorful and artsy anniversary logo. (We’re living for the colors and loads of tulle!)

Disneyland Park will also debut a new character cavalcade! The “Mickey and Friends Celebrate Happy!” cavalcade will run through the parade route and have many beloved characters. Disney defines the cavalcade as “an energetic and contemporary celebration of seven decades of happiness.”

A new theme song, “Celebrate Happy,” will be played throughout the various entertainment offerings, and based on the name, we’re assuming the cavalcade is one of those experiences!
