Fans Will Roar Over New ‘Mufasa: The Lion King’ Soundtrack
Disney fans, get ready to roar with excitement! Walt Disney Records has recently announced the release of the highly anticipated Mufasa: The Lion King soundtrack.

Available for pre-order now, the album officially drops on December 13th, featuring original songs from the amazing Lin-Manuel Miranda.
There will also be a deluxe version, which will include a stunning score by Tony Award-winning composer Dave Metzger.
A Musical Legacy
Lin-Manuel Miranda shared his enthusiasm for the project with Broadway.com, saying, “The Lion King has an incredible musical legacy with music from some of the greatest songwriters around, and I’m humbled and proud to be a part of it.”
He collaborated closely with director Barry Jenkins to weave an unforgettable musical tapestry for the film.

New Songs
The soundtrack offers a moving lineup of songs, including “Ngomso” performed by Lebo M and “Milele” by Anika Noni Rose and Keith David. The deluxe version includes the new songs and Metzger’s sweeping score.

Mufasa: The Lion King
Mufasa: The Lion King shares Mufasa’s journey, which is told through Rafiki’s storytelling to a young Kiara, Simba and Nala’s daughter.
The film explores Mufasa’s story from an orphaned cub to the beloved king of the Pride Lands and blends animation with live-action techniques.
