UPDATE: Construction Continues on Test Track at EPCOT
Things are always changing in Disney World, aren’t they?
There’s been A LOT of big news lately, including plans for a NEW resort, info on the expansion at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and updates on the future of The Muppets in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
But Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster isn’t the only thrill ride in Disney World that’s getting an update!
In case you missed it, Test Track closed for a MAJOR reimagining back in June – and we’ve been following along ever since as the attraction inches closer and closer to Test Track 3.0!
This week, our eagle-eyed MickeyBlog team spotted some noticeable changes in EPCOT as construction continues on the highly-anticipated refurbishment.
Let’s check it out!
Construction Continues on Test Track
If you’ve been hoping to ride Test Track anytime soon, you’ll have to practice your patience a little bit longer, as the reimagined attraction won’t reopen until summer 2025.
On the bright side, construction is well underway and we finally have a timeline for the attraction’s grand reopening.
While we wait, we’re keeping a close eye on the happenings over at EPCOT, where ground supports have been installed for the new entrance canopy.
In addition, Test Track’s main marquee has also been removed, making way for new additions to the attraction’s entrance.
As you can see, construction crews are hard at work transforming the exterior of the ride.
We can’t wait to see what’s in store at the reimagined Test Track 3.0!
