Eva Longoria Stars in ‘Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Road Trip’
Eva Longoria is back in action, this time starring in Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Road Trip on March 28, 2025.

This heartwarming comedy, premiering on Disney+, is the sequel to 2014’s Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day.
However, this time, the fun and chaos unfold on a family road trip, where the Garcias hope to reconnect with their Mexican roots.
A New Adventure
Eva Longoria shares that this sequel has a little bit of everything and that the project was a nostalgic trip for her! Longoria plays the matriarch of the Garcia family, sharing, “It has adventure, it has a cursed idol, and there’s a road trip! It hits on all levers.”
“I have a crazy Mexican family and had so much fun going on road trips growing up. It was fun putting a family that looks like mine on screen and at the same time having it be so relatable to everybody,” she shares.

The story centers on Alexander (Thom Nemer), the “supposedly ‘cursed’ member of this family,” as he tries to bring everyone together amid a series of hilarious (and disastrous) challenges.
Expect plenty of laughs, heartwarming moments, and a sense of adventure in this film Longoria describes as “a movie for the whole family.” Fans of the original won’t want to miss the fun.
