New Moana Meet and Greet Debuts at Disney California Adventure

As Moana 2’s historic box office performance has shown, the franchise has never been more popular.

Since the first Moana film arrived in theaters in 2016, the young wayfinder, Maui, Pua, and Hei Hei, have been among Disney’s most popular characters. Just visit any Disney park, and you will see exactly what I am talking about.

In addition to the wild success of Moana 2, the original Moana film was the most-watched movie on streaming in 2023. Needless to say, it is a great time to be a Moana fan!

If you want to meet Moana yourself, head over to Hollywood Land!

Near Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue!, Moana is meeting her fans alongside her trusty companions Pua and Hei Hei.

As you can see, Disney has installed a Polynesian backdrop for the wayfinder.

As you can see, the new Moana meet-and-greet is a ton of fun and a great way to celebrate the arrival of Moana 2 in theaters!

With the Moana franchise continuing to reach unparalleled heights of popularity, we will likely see more and more of Moana and her friends in the parks.
