A New Special Effect Comes to Hollywood Tower of Terror
Everyone has a list of their favorite rides that they must experience when visiting Walt Disney World.
Water rides, thrill rides, leisure experiences, and more. For many people, if you are visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios, then Hollywood Tower of Terror is a must-do.

MickeyBlog is visiting the park this morning and noticed a tiny change that has a big impact on the fan-fave attraction.
New Audio Affect

A new thunder audio effect has been added to the Tower of Terror. You can hear it best from the queue but you can also hear it a short distance down the street by Fantasmic!

We also noticed a few flashing effects being added for nighttime (similar to what they have at Haunted Mansion).
When speaking with a cast member, she confirmed that the thunder was new. However, we aren’t sure if the lights are new or just an update. Regardless, we love any special effects that add to the Tower of Terror experience.
