Holiday Hearth Desserts
At EPCOT’s Festival of the Holidays, you’ll find savory bites from all around the world. But if you’re looking for a sweet treat, Holiday Hearth Desserts is probably on your festival to-do list.
Located inside The Odyssey Pavilion near World Celebration, Holiday Hearth Desserts serves a variety of sugary snacks and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
Food options include the Red Velvet Mini Bundt Cake with cream cheese icing, a Salted Caramel Spaceship Earth cookie, Mouse Crunch made with red and green M&M’s candies, a Mint Chocolate Mousse Wreath, an Apple Caramel Crumb Cake, and Chocolate-covered Toffee Brittle.
If you’re looking for something to quench your thirst, you’ll also find several varieties of beer and hot cocoa. Here is what we tried.
Delicious Bites
Our first bite was the Red Velvet Mini Bundt Cake for $5, and this dessert did not disappoint. It was perfectly soft and moist.
The cake has a subtle chocolate flavor with a sweet glaze, and the dollop of cream cheese in the center was great.
However, we thought it could use a bit more cream cheese frosting to cut some of the sweetness.
The finishing touch is this tiny royal icing snowman decorating the top! Overall, this was a yummy and festive treat.
The next sweet treat was the Salted Caramel Spaceship Earth Cookiesoft for $5.50.
This cookie has a shortbread texture and a thick layer of gooey caramel in the middle, but it doesn’t overpower the flavor. It is sweet and tastes just like a sugar cookie.
The sugar sprinkles on top give it a nice crunch for added texture and a cute look!
Our final bite was the Mint Chocolate Mousse Wreath for $5.25. The dessert was super minty, but it’s really nice and light.
The chocolate chips add a sweet flavor and a nice texture, and the shell is really nice, too, providing more crunch!
We did notice that the ginger gets a little lost with the more robust mint flavor.
The cookie on the bottom is nice and soft and has great spice, but again, the mint overpowers it.
That being said, if you are a mint fan, this is the perfect dessert for you!
Don’t Miss Out!
Be sure to try out all of these treats at this year’s festival. EPCOT’s 2024 International Festival of the Holidays runs NOW through December 30th, 2024.
