We Have Mixed Feelings About the Menu at Le Marche de Noel Holiday Kitchen
If your favorite Disney World pastime involves fantastic flavors from around the world, we know EPCOT is your home away from home.
And if you love the holidays as much as we do, you’ve probably been counting the days until the 2024 EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays!
In case you missed it, the fan-favorite holiday festival kicks off TODAY, November 29th, and runs through December 30th, bringing plenty of holiday entertainment and exclusive festival merchandise to the park.
But for Disney World foodies, the highlight of the festival is ALWAYS those fabulously festive foods and delicious drinks!
Our team arrived bright and early this morning to bring you all the details on what to hit and what to skip. Now it’s time to stop at Le Marche de Noel Holiday Kitchen.
Le Marche de Noel Holiday Kitchen
If you’re on the hunt for some festive French options, look no further than the France pavilion!
Here, you’ll find Le Marche de Noel Holiday Kitchen, which offers elevated French dishes, including two new menu items for this year: the Roasted Ham with Mushrooms, Pearl Onions, Bacon, White Wine Mustard Sauce, and Darphin Roasted Herb Potatoes and the Chocolate Fudge Christmas Log with a Caramel Cream Center.
The booth also offers three beverage options: the Frozen Chocolate Martini, the spiced Cranberry Punch, and the new Chateau Haut Beaumard Cabernet Sauvignon.
We started with the Crème De Saumon FuméCrème De Saumon Fumé en Brioche aux Grains de Sesames, Concombre et Radis for $8.75.
This bite is smoked salmon spread on a sesame brioche roll with cucumber and radishes. First impressions? It tasted very fishy and had an almost tuna-like consistency.
Unfortunately, the bread was also a little stale, and the salmon had a bit of an “off taste.”
The fishy taste overpowered everything else, and we didn’t taste the smoked flavor. This wasn’t a dish we would recommend.
Next, we tried the Bûche de Noël au Chocolat et Caramel for $6.95. This treat was a decadent chocolate cake log with rich fudge on top and a creamy caramel center.
The flavor was mild, and we really liked the creamy caramel filling. It was a small bite but very sweet, which was perfect because more would just be too much!
Don’t Miss Out!
