REVIEW: L’Chaim Packs A Little Too Much Flavor at the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays
It’s finally time for the 2024 EPCOT Festival of the Holidays in Disney World! The festival begins today and runs through December 30th.
There are all kinds of entertainment, merchandise, and activities to enjoy at the festival, and there’s also a bunch of fun food! Let’s go check out one of the Holiday Kitchens.
L’Chaim Holiday Kitchen
L’Chaim Holiday Kitchen is located between Morocco and France in EPCOT’s World Showcase.
Almost everything on the menu this year is returning, except for the new Brooklyn Brewery Black Chocolate Stout beer. Here’s a look at the full menu:
We grabbed the returning plant-based Potato Latkes for $4.75. These are just regular latkes a plant-based dill sauce.
The potato latkes are cooked very well and have a nice crunch on the outside!
However, the sauce was not our favorite. It had a really strong horseradish flavor to it that was overwhelming and tasted artificial.
If we got these again, we’d ask for them without the sauce and we think they’d be great!
One of the other items available here is the Pastrami on Rye with house-made pickles and deli mustard for $6. We got this last year and thought it was a home run!
The rye bread is soft and the sandwich is loaded up with delicious pastrami, perfectly accompanied by the mustard and pickle.
The other items on the menu are the returning Smoked Salmon Potato Latke for $6.25 and the returning Rugelach for $4.25. This is pastry filled with raspberry jam, walnuts, and cinnamon.
Finally, you can get the plant-based Black and White Cookie for $3.25, which is one of the cookies on the Holiday Cookie Stroll.
As for drinks, you can get the new Brooklyn Brewery Black Chocolate Stout, which is $5.75 for a 6 oz. pour or $9.75 for a 12 oz. pour. Or, grab the returning Frozen New York Whiskey Sour for $12.50, which comes with Manifest Whiskey and Manischewitz Blackberry Wine.
Stay tuned for more from EPCOT’s Festival of the Holidays!
