NEW Spaceship Earth Gingerbread Display Debuts in EPCOT!
Happy first day of the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays, everyone! We’re at the park today to check out all of the festive fun.

There is a bunch of new food on the menus, new merchandise is out in the stores, and there is some exciting entertainment happening. And, right now we’re going to check out another new part of the festival — a special gingerbread house!
Spaceship Earth Gingerbread House
Check out the new Spaceship Earth Gingerbread House! It’s located inside of CommuniCore Hall.

The EPCOT Pastry Team created this 8-foot-tall version of the park icon in over 160 hours with almost a thousand handcrafted gingerbread triangles! It took 240 pounds of honey dough, 100 eggs, 100 ounces Lebkuchen spice, 55 pounds dark chocolate, and 100 pounds royal icing.

The gingerbread Spaceship Earth even lights up like the real one! Every fifteen minutes the show happens, which is 3 minutes long — you can see the countdown to the next show on the display!

There’s also music to accompany the light show. Check out the lights on the gingerbread display as they turn rainbow, red and white, green and white, and more. There’s also some twinkling of the lights between the shows!

There are also 11 hidden Mickeys to represent the 11 countries of the World Showcase!

You have to look for them verrrry closely.

There’s an informational section of the display, too.
