Tickets for ‘Mufasa: The Lion King’ are On Sale NOW
It’s been twenty years since Disney’s The Lion King hit theaters back in June 1994, introducing us to loveable characters we’d never forget and iconic songs we still sing along to today.

The Lion King made us laugh, but it also made us ugly cry with emotional scenes that tore out our hearts — and STAMPEDED right on top of them.
In a film FULL of loveable, huggable characters, the wise Mufasa continues to reign as the emotional heart of the film.

Now, it’s FINALLY time for us to experience his backstory through the highly-anticipated Lion King prequel, Mufasa: The Lion King.
The CGI-animated film by Walt Disney Pictures officially hits theaters on December 20th, 2024, when audiences will follow the orphaned Mufasa on a coming-of-age journey all his own.

Tickets on Sale NOW for ‘Mufasa: The Lion King’
Mufasa: The Lion King stars Aaron Pierre as a young Mufasa and Kelvin Harrison Jr. as Taka, the lion who will later be known as Scar.

The star-studded voice cast includes a laundry list of well-known names, including Seth Rogen as Pumbaa, Billy Eichner as Timon, and Beyoncé Knowles-Carter as Nala. We’ll also see Blue Ivy Carter as Kiara, Thandie Newton as Eshe, and Donald Glover as Simba, among others.

Fans may also recognize the voices of Lenny James (AMC’s The Walking Dead) and Disney’s own Anika Noni Rose, who is best known as the voice behind The Princess and the Frog‘s Princess Tiana.

Finally, Danish actor Mads Mikkelsen brings life to Kiros, the formidable white lion who leads a group known as “The Outsiders.”
