New ‘Lilo & Stitch’ Poster Features a Crossover I Didn’t Know I Needed
As audiences across the country prepare for the next great Disney adventure, Moana 2, which sails into theaters today, Disney capitalized on the anticipation for the film with a little bit of cross-promotion.
Walt Disney Studios released a new Lilo & Stitch poster this afternoon, featuring everyone’s favorite little blue alien holding a Kakamora in his mouth!
“Hold on to your coconuts,” the new poster reads.

The new poster not only does a great job melding the worlds of Moana and Stitch, but it also is a fun callback to the marketing push behind the original Lilo & Stitch marketing push, which saw Experiment 626 crashing memorable moments in classic Disney films.
‘Lilo & Stitch’ Hits Theaters Next Year
Disney’s live-action Lilo & Stitch will arrive in theaters on May 23, 2025. The film stars Maia Kealoha, Zach Galifianakis, and Billy Magnussen. Chris Sanders will reprise his role as Stitch’s voice.
True to the film, the live-action remake will tell the story of “the bond formed between a lonely human girl named Lilo and a dog-like alien named Stitch, who is engineered to be a force of destruction. Pursuing aliens, social workers, and the idea of the bond of a family figure into the proceedings.”

“Again, it’s a story about connection and a kid trying to find a friend, and all you can do is approach a project like that with love. I am so grateful and honored to be a part of that project,” Magnussen told GamesRadar earlier this year.
