FIRST LOOK & PHOTOS of Disney’s NEW Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade Floats
People traditionally gather around their television sets to watch the annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. This year will be no different.
One thing that stands out this year is three new Disney floats making their 2.5 mile trek down the streets of Manhattan.
Disney’s New Ship – The Disney Treasure Sets Sail
We learned back on October 15, 2024 that “this year’s Parade will feature a brand-new Disney Cruise Line float, “Magic Meets the Seas,” along with a new, specially choreographed performance starring beloved characters from Disney Animation, Pixar, and more.”
Tonight we got a first look at the actual Disney Treasure float that will appear in the parade. This sneak peak was amazing!
The Disney Treasure was recently Christened in New York City and its inaugural sailing is next month.
Mickey Mouse and Captain Minnie can be seen gracing the exterior of the ship.
The Parade can be seen live on NBC and Peacock from 8:30am – 12pm. The parade started one hundred years ago in 1924!

Minnie Mouse Comes Marching In
It’s hard to believe, but Minnie Mouse is new this year to the Parade. According to the official Macy’s website, “Everyone’s favorite sweetheart, Disney’s Minnie Mouse is making her Parade debut. Minnie Mouse, who can be seen striking an adorable pose, is ready to dazzle New York City with her iconic polka dot bow & signature yellow heels.”
Take a look at how cute she is!
Minnie will certainly sparkle in her iconic polka dots. We can’t wait to see her debut performance.
It’s All About Bluey
One of Disney+’s biggest stars is Bluey. He’s a fan favorite in so many households around the country.
According to Macy’s, Bluey was hand painted by a team of artists with approximately 50 gallons of blue paint. Wow!
Don’t just fly, Bluey…SOAR!
Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man
The amazing Spider-Man returns to the streets of New York City for the first time in over ten years.
We got a glimpse of Spidey as he prepares for the parade too.
Spidey is 44 feet tall – that’s as tall as a four story building!
Make sure to watch the parade Thanksgiving morning and keep an eye out for these Disney favorites!
