Disney Will Have a Major Presence in This Year’s ‘Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade’
The 98th annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade will kick off tomorrow morning in New York City, and this year, the procession will infused with a little Disney magic.
As hundreds of millions of Americans prepare to celebrate Thanksgiving, all eyes will be on NBC as another Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade unfolds.
Ahead of the big day, Disney has shared a preview of what fans can expect. Let’s take a closer look.
Minnie’s Big Moment
As previously reported, Minnie Mouse will have a major presence at this year’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
History will be made when the 60-foot Minnie Balloon makes its way through New York City.

To celebrate the momentous occasion, Disney has also partnered with Macy’s to release an exclusive Minnie Mouse Balloon collection featuring apparel, collectibles, and artwork by Jeff Shelly.

The Disney Cruise Line’s ‘Live the Adventure’ Float
Joining Minnie in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade will be a Disney Cruise Line.
To celebrate the launch of the Disney Treasure next month, Disney has created a special Magic Mets the Seas float. The parade float will feature Captain Mickey Mouse and Captain Minnie Mouse, along with fan-favorite characters, including Aladdin, Coco, and Moana.

The parade will also feature a Broadway-style performance of Disney hits and a confetti-filled finale set to the Disney Treasure’s theme song, “Live the Adventure.”
Spidey Returns!
Last but certainly not least, Spider-Man is swinging back into action in this year’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade with a newly designed balloon inspired by the art style of John Romita Sr.

Spidey was a staple of the Macey’s Thanksgiving Day Parade for years but has been noticeably absent for a decade. Tomorrow, he will return.
The Festivities Kick Off Tomorrow
The 98th annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade airs live on Thursday, November 28, 2024, from 8:30 AM to 12 Noon EST on NBC.
