Disney Holiday Gift Guide for Black Friday
Welcome to the holiday shopping season, which is my Super Bowl!
Yes, loved ones are already receiving their Christmas gifts from me this week, and my shopping list has dropped to just two.

Christmas Tree at Disney’s Animal Kingdom
I realize that most people don’t suffer from my particular affliction of holiday shopping earlier than any sane person would.
So, you’re likely ramping up your seasonal shopping right now.

With Hanukkah and Christmas both arriving on December 25th, the stars have aligned on this year’s timeline.
Therefore, most of us are shopping with the same deadlines this year. And the holiday buying season unofficially starts on Friday.
So, here’s a Disney holiday gift guide for Black Friday 2024!
(Please note that some of the prices may not match at the time of publication. Some deals won’t activate until Black Friday.)
Bluey Awesome Storybook Collection — $5.00

I’m tweaking the format a bit for this, my eighth year of doing the holiday gift guide.
This week, I’ll focus more on exclusive deals you can find to stretch your holiday budgets.

Image: Wal-Mart
For example, Wal-Mart has a Black Friday deal on this adorable square hardcover edition of Bluey!
Parents can make story time more fun by telling the adventures of Bluey, Bingo, and the rest of the family!

Even though we live in a second-screen world, there’s always room for bedtime stories, right?
The Disney Bundle or Hulu — $2.99 or $0.99

Photo: Hulu
When is the best time of the year to subscribe to a streaming service?
The not-so-secret answer is the time from Black Friday through the end of the year!

Photo: Disney+
That’s because streaming services attempt to persuade people to subscribe by offering cut-rate deals.
For Disney fans, this week presents a couple of amazing opportunities.

Hulu
The Disney Bundle (with Ads) is available for just $2.99 a month right now, and you can lock in that deal for up to 12 months!
So, you’ll guarantee that you pay $35.88 to subscribe to Disney+ and Hulu for the next calendar year.
If you just want Hulu, you can sign up for it for just $0.99 a month for the next twelve months.
That’s the price of a Quarter Pounder Combo but will last you all year! You can sign up for whichever package you want here.
Disney Parks Cookbook — $7.69

Image: Amazon
There are two gifts on this list that I’ve already purchased for loved ones this holiday season, and this is one of them.
The Official Disney Parks Cookbook includes 101 of the most iconic recipes you’ll find at Walt Disney World and Disneyland.

Image: Amazon
We’re talking about classic dishes such as the Honey-Coriander Chicken Wings at ‘Ohana and Mickey Beignets at Magic Kingdom.
Something I love about gifting cookbooks is that you’re really providing your loved one with a few culinary adventures.

Image: Amazon
They’ll spend a happy afternoon trying to duplicate the flavors of Disney, comparing their own creation to the dishes they love.
This is a gift that can last for years, and I happily gave it to one of our dearest friends this Christmas. At $7.69, it’s a steal!
Groot Action Figure — $6.99

Image: Amazon
In looking at some old holiday gift guides, I notice I’ve been a bit lacking with my recommendations for action figurines and the like.
So, I’m rectifying that this year with the meanest-looking Groot toy I’ve ever seen.

Image: Amazon
This Groot action figure isn’t one of those cute Baby Groots or even Disaffected Teen Groot.
No, this is Murderbot Groot, complete with the kind of weaponry that would make his buddy Rocket quite jealous.

Image: Amazon
For $7, this strikes me as an excellent stocking stuffer for the violent child on your shopping list.
Holiday Ornaments — $12-$15

Image: Disney
The Disney Store knows that there are still 30 days until Christmas and Hanukkah.
So, you’ve still got plenty of time to decorate and/or perfect your holidays.

Image: Disney
Disney is currently selling many of its finest holiday ornaments for just $12 each!
You can buy Stitch and Scrump, WALL-E and E.V.E., or even Kevin from Home Alone.

Image: Disney
Add your favorites to your shopping cart. Then, use the code MICKEY at checkout to drop the price to $12-$15 each!
LEGO Moana Train Building Toy — $36.99

Image: Amazon
This is Moana season for Disney fans! For many years now, we’ve all wanted a sequel, and there’s finally one in theaters right now.
If your littles adore Moana, you’ll want this children’s set aimed at the preschool crowd.

Image: Amazon
As an FYI, this train features more than just Moana, though. You’ll also find Mickey & Minnie, Peter Pan, Tinker Bell, and Woody.
So, this one packs a wallop, although it is a bit pricier than most of the other options on today’s list.

Image: Amazon
If you’d prefer something cheaper that’s Moana, there’s also this Wayfarer Boat for $20.
LEGO Encanto The Madrigal House — $29.99

Image: Amazon
Something I really like about LEGO playsets is that once you build the item, it becomes a decoration for your home.
That’s why I gravitate toward this LEGO Casita, which recreates Mirabel’s three-story home.

Image: Amazon
By LEGO standards, it’s an easy build, but it’ll become a source of pride for your child’s bedroom.
They’ll feel like they have a private castle complete with Disney Princess!
Lorcana Gateway Board Game

Image: Target
By now, you should have at least some familiarity with Lorcana, Disney’s trading card game.
As with most games in this style, you’ll develop your own variant for how to play over time.

Photo: Dicebreaker
However, you need to learn how to walk before you run, and so you should start with the basics.
Here’s the Lorcana Gateway Board Game on sale for $12.50. It’s a cheap entry point to try Lorcana and decide whether you like it.
Presuming you do, you can pick up more booster packs over time, which many fans find addictive.
This base game will allow you to try before you invest any more resources, though, which is why I strongly recommend it.
You can have a LOT of fun for $12.50.
POP! Disney Olaf as Moana — $11.99

Photo: Funko Games
I’m mentioning this one even though Amazon recently changed the price.
When I bought this on Wednesday, the price was just $5.99, which is a STEAL for something that could become a collector’s item.

Image: Funko
Many of the most obscure Funko POP!s are the ones most in demand now.
This is admittedly a weird product, a juxtaposition of Olaf from Frozen dressed in Moana’s outfit.

Disney
While it’s probably not for everyone, it’s absolutely adorable. And if you can get it at a lower price like I did, it’s a no-brainer.
So, keep an eye on Amazon for a restock, as the price increased merely because it sold out at $5.99.
If the price is significantly higher, you’re buying from a third party. It could be a ripoff. So, caveat emptor!
Stitch Jumbo Plush — $20

Image: Wal-Mart
Don’t overthink this one!
Everyone loves Stitch. The character has become one of Disney’s most reliable merchandise movers.

Image: Wal-Mart
That’s why Disney releases a new line of monthly Stitch merchandise each year.
Executives know that many people like my wife will buy every single piece of Stitch merch.

Photo: Disney
With a new movie coming out in May, now is the perfect time to snag a giant Stitch plush at a bargain-basement price!
Seriously, I’ve spent a LOT more than $20 on Stitch merch much smaller than this.
Vacationing at Disneyland!
Finally, we have the best option of all. It’s a Disneyland vacation!
In case you aren’t aware, MickeyBlog just discussed an amazing deal available for Disney+ subscribers.
The Disneyland Holiday Ticket Offer allows you to buy three days of park tickets for the price of two!
That’s just one of several offers currently available for The Happiest Place on Earth.

Disneyland Park
Over the last five days, I’ve spent a couple of hours listening to my brother and sister-in-law excitedly relay every detail of their Disneyland visit.
They’re Walt Disney World fans as a rule, but they just spent a week in Anaheim.

Photo: Disneyland
It sounds like they hated to leave because they’re already planning a return trip!
Disneyland is the ultimate for theme park fans as it’s the original and some would argue still the best.

So, you should speak to a MickeyTravels agent to find the best possible deal for a Disneyland vacation.
These agents offer their services free of charge. They’re literally the best in the world, and they’ll help you win the holidays.
