Haunted Mansion Holiday’s Traditional Standby Line Returns — No Long Offering Virtual Queue
With construction on the Haunted Mansion’s queue set to wrap up today, Disney is officially doing away with the attraction’s virtual queue.
As a quick recap, the iconic New Orleans Square attraction closed in January as work began on an extended queue and new shop. When Haunted Mansion Holiday returned to Disneyland on July 29, Disney implemented a virtual queue.

Virtual Queue for Haunted Mansion Holiday
Since then, guests have had the option of joining the virtual queue or purchasing a Lightning Lane for the attraction. No standby line has been offered. Beginning today, however, things are changing.
No More Virtual Queue
A new note in the Disneyland app explains that beginning today, November 26, guests will once again be able to experience the Haunted Mansion Holiday through a traditional standby queue or Lightning Lane Multi Pass.

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party
At this time, a virtual queue is no longer offered at the attraction.
While some guests may miss the opportunity to forgo a traditional queue when riding Haunted Mansion Holiday, there will be one obvious benefit.
It Will Now Be Easier to Ride Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and Haunted Mansion Holiday
For the first time ever, guests can now join the Tiana’s Bayou Adventure virtual queue and wait in a traditional line for the Haunted Mansion Holiday. Previously, as both attractions only offered virtual queues, most guests had to choose one or another. Disneyland did not allow guests to join both virtual queues simultaneously.

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in Disneyland
With construction wrapping up at Haunted Mansion and Bayou Country officially open, Disneyland is beginning to operate near full capacity again. I can’t wait to see what Imagineers have done with the new Haunted Mansion queue.
