Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, Celebrates Premiere of ‘Moana 2’
Disney’s Aulani Resort recently hosted the world premiere of Moana 2, creating a spectacular celebration of Polynesian culture.
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Auliʻi Cravalho, and other cast members appeared at the event, which was also attended by the filmmakers and creatives who contributed to the film!

Held at the Lanikūhonua Cultural Institute in Hawaii, the premiere included performances by Polynesian artists, paying homage to the Pacific heritage that inspires the Moana story.
Star-Studded Entertainment
The night included amazing entertainment and plenty of special appearances. Hualālai Chung (voice of Moni and also an Aulani performer) entertained guests with a special Fire & Knife Demonstration.
The exciting performance can also be experienced by resort guests at Aulani’s KA WA‘A – A Lū‘au!

Several stars from the film attended the fun premiere, including Auliʻi Cravalho (voice of Moana), Dwayne Johnson (voice of Maui), Hualālai Chung (voice of Moni), Khaleesi Lambert-Tsuda (voice of Simea) and Gerald Faitala Ramsey (voice of Tautai Vasa).

Mickey and Minnie also attended the event looking great in island-inspired apparel!

In addition, Disney partnered with Make-A-Wish and the Starlight Children’s Foundation to extend the celebration to families and children in Hawaii.
Five Make-A-Wish kids and their families were invited to stay at Aulani and were Dwayne Johnson’s personal guests at the premiere.
