PHOTOS & VIDEO: Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge Gingerbread Display Officially Debuts
With Thanksgiving just days away and December on the horizon, the holiday season is officially in full swing at Walt Disney World.
Over the past couple of weeks, we have been updating you on all the festive fun taking place across the resort, including the return of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, the new Santa meet-and-greet at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and all the holiday offerings at Disney Springs.
However, my favorite part of Christmas at Walt Disney World is seeing how the different resorts celebrate the season. To that end, we have been exploring the resorts and soaking in the merry decor!
With that in mind, I want to turn your attention to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, where a magical moment took place this morning.
The “Wild” Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge Gingerbread Display
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge officially unveiled its gingerbread display today with a ribbon-cutting ceremony!

As you can see, Animal Kingdom Lodge has created gingerbread versions of many of the resort’s animals.
