The Scaffolding is Down Around Disneyland’s Railroad Station
We’ve got good news for anyone traveling to Disneyland this week, as your entrance to the park just got a whole lot more magical.
Hope “all aboard” with us, and let’s go see what’s been going on!
A Refurbished Railroad
If you’ve been to the Disneyland Park over the past few weeks, or indeed following us here on MickeyBlog, you’ll know that the Disneyland Railroad station has been under some renovation.
Covered by scrim and scaffolding, guests have been greeted at the park’s entrance by a less-than-grand railway sight, happening as part of some wider railroad refurbishment efforts.
If you missed it, here’s what the station looked like a month ago:
And here it is today:
Yep, we’re thrilled to see that gorgeous, iconic station looking as dazzling as ever, without a tarp nor pole in sight. The refurbishment is finished, and the scaffolding has been removed!
It’s open for business as normal, meaning guests are able to hop on the Disneyland Railroad from the Main Street Station, and steam away to wherever their adventures take them!
Of course, this update is particularly welcome thanks to its timing, with holiday crowds soon to descend upon the parks. Just think of all those perfect photos waiting to be snapped in front of the station, and that iconic Mickey flowerbed!
Speaking of picture-perfect, have you seen all the beautiful holiday tidings which have appeared around the Disneyland Resort this month? You can check out our festive photos here, including a look at those beautiful snow-capped turrets of Sleeping Beauty Castle.
There’s really no better time to visit the resort!
