FIRST LOOK: Festival of the Holidays Preparations are Underway at EPCOT
It is Thanksgiving week, and the holidays are just around the corner. Walt Disney World is ready for the festive season, and so are we.
MickeyBlog has brought you “first looks” of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, Disney Jollywood Nights, hotel holiday decor, and more.
Now, we are bringing you a first look at one of our other favorite seasonal Disney events!
EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays
From November 29 through December 30, EPCOT will host the Festival of the Holidays. The fan-fave event celebrates the holidays with unique offerings, delicious cuisine, and entertainment from around the world.
The festival starts in a few days, and preparations are already underway.
Each of the countries in World Showcase will offer special seasonal offerings.
This includes new entertainment, special merchandise, and, of course, amazing food and drinks.
The stage in Canada is ready for its festive entertainment.
And the United Kingdom pavilion is decorated with a beautiful Christmas tree and gorgeous poinsettias.
Each country offers details about how they celebrate the holidays, as well as unique traditions.
Here is information from France and Pere Noel.
How beautiful are these white and blue snowflakes?
Morocco is getting ready for the festival, too.
Here is a great look at Japan:
The tree is up, and the holiday decorations look great in the America pavilion.
Here is another great look:
Guests have the chance to enjoy live entertainment and meet unique storytellers in each country, including La Befana, the kind-hearted witch who visits sleeping young children in Italy.
Or the Chinese Lion Dancer in the China Pavilion! Watch as they celebrate good fortune and happiness during the Lunar New Year through their dynamic performance.
This seasonal event is brimming with merry music, global cuisine, and fun for the whole family.
Seeing the different countries definitely gets us excited for the upcoming festival…
… and puts us in the holiday spirit. We cannot wait to visit each of the countries and check out the newest offerings.
Here is another excellent look at these preparations coming together!
We even spotted the kitchens getting ready with their fantastic food and drink offerings.
Signs and posters for the candlelight processional are also up!
The EPCOT Festival of the Holidays begins on November 29, and we are sure to see more decorations over the next few days.
