Disney Expands Lightning Lane Premier Pass
When the Lightning Lane Premier Pass launched on October 30th, it was only available to guests staying at Deluxe Disney World hotels.
As of today, however, the Lightning Lane Premier Pass is available to even more Disney World guests.
Chef Mickey’s at Disney’s Contemporary Resort
Beginning Friday, Nov. 22, 2024, Disney World is officially expanding the Lightning Lane Premier Pass to ALL Disney Resort hotels.
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa Sugar Loaf Buildings
Now, guests staying at Disney Deluxe, Deluxe Villa, Moderate, Value, and other select hotels will be eligible to purchase up to seven days before the first day of their Resort stay.
Disney’s POP! Century Resort
Eligible resort hotels include the following:
- Disney Resort hotels
- Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel
- Walt Disney World Swan Hotel
- Walt Disney World Swan Reserve
- Shades of Green Resort
The Details
The Lightning Lane Premier Pass saves guests time on their favorite attractions.
Unlike the Lightning Lane Multi Pass, which requires guests to reserve up to three Lightning Lanes at a time for each ride, the Premier Pass allows guests to visit each attraction once — no reservation required.

Eligible guests can purchase Lightning Lane Premier Passes up to 7 days before the first day of their resort stay starting at 7AM ET. The Premier Pass is available in very limited quantities at this time.
Prices for Lightning Lane Premier Passes vary based on date and theme park and are displayed in the My Disney Experience app.

To purchase, open the My Disney Experience app, find “Lightning Lane Premier Pass” on the home screen, and tap “Purchase.” Follow the prompts to complete your purchase.
