New ‘JOYFUL!’ Stage Arrives at CommuniCore Plaza Ahead of the 2024 EPCOT Festival of the Holidays

With Thanksgiving just around the corner and December on the horizon, the holiday season is in full swing at Walt Disney World.

Over the past couple of weeks, we have been reporting on all the festive fun taking place across the resort. So far, this has included the return of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, Disney Jollywood Nights, and Merry Menagerie at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

While the Walt Disney World theme parks have come alive with holiday cheer, we are still waiting on one major offering.

EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays

From November 29 through December 30, EPCOT will host the International Festival of the Holidays, a merry annual event.

The fan-favorite festival features holiday traditions, cuisine, and entertainment from around the world!

Returning this year will be the popular EPCOT holiday offering, JOYFUL! A Celebration of the Season, which has delighted guests with its unique spin on classic Christmas songs for years.

A New Home For ‘JOYFUL!’

Previously, the show was performed in the World Showplace, however, with the construction of World Celebration complete, JOYFUL! will have a new home this year.

A new stage has been constructed in CommuniCore Plaza in anticipation of the 2024 EPCOT Festival of the Holidays.

As you can see, the stage will host JOYFUL! A Celebration of the Season this year.

A sign in front of the stage advertises the Christmas show and will also share information about Kwanzaa.

JOYFUL! will be performed numerous times throughout the day during the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays. So, if you plan on visiting the park next month, be sure to stop by and check it out!
